Details: If you are interested in supporting asylum seekers at the southern border and in immigration detention, please email your resume and a letter of interest to our Volunteer and Intern Coordinator, Lily Kurtz, at volunteer@alotrolado.org, and feel free to include any questions you may have.
Interns will have the opportunity to:- Conduct legal intakes and screen clients for eligibility for relief
- Research and compile country condition reports
- Draft motions and briefs
- Special projects related to transnational movement-building and impact litigation
- Assist with coordination of translation of evidence
- Interpret for client appointments
- Produce social media content

Details: Working side-by-side with professional fundraisers and external event management consultants, the Events Intern will expand and ignite engagement within our communities by assisting in the preparation of the 2021 Winter Reception on December 2, 2021, at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.
Interns will have the opportunity to:- Assist Development Team in preparing for the 2021 Winter Reception
- Support pre-event outreach communications with potential and confirmed guests, including but not limited to corporate sponsors, elected officials, coalition partners, etc.
